ABOUT ME

My name is Lucie Konečná. I am 21 years old. Last year I successfully graduated on grammar-school in Vítkov. At the moment I live in Prague where I am studying University of Economics, field Taxation and taxable politics. Besides I am an insane person into dogs, agility, I like sport, roller skating, friends and nature.

HOW I GET TO THE DOGS AND AGILITY?

Such as each child I loved animals. I always wanted to have a dog and ideal also a horse. My mothe was against my wish to have a dog or a house. In cover of my soul I hoped that one day my wish come true. When I was 9 years old I started to go to the horses in Budišov nad Budišovkou. Till the age of twelve I used to addict oneself fully in horses. My life was about mucking and riding horses. Then I started to horses to farm of husband Kyncl where I met most wonderful breed - border collie. I watched them how they understand with their owner. Then when I could to play and go for a walks - I really ploughed them  Beyond this I found the most wonderful aport in the world - agility. Today I can´t image the only day without dogs. And that´s all thanks to Alena Kynclová who is so kind and borrows her dogs to me.

THE DOGS WHICH I USED TO TRAIN OR STILL TRAIN.

Acroos my eight-year career I used to run with four dogs. The first, but in that time just training dog, was Kofola (A3Ch Citchi Darley Arabian.). Kofola is absolutely astonishing creature. She never had ideal boddy´s proportions for running agility. But when I was running with her, I don´t understand where is taken so much power during reaching unbelievable achievements. Kofola is the dog, who teached me all things which I today know. At the moment she is rentired and this year celebrated 10th birthday.

The other dog was Čip (Aram Vrabčí hnízdo). I used to run with him just half of the year, because the injury from the youthes. In May 2012 he celebrated his 9th birthday. However since July 2012 he isn´t with us and he´s having a good time there in dog´s heaven. He was great dog, unbelievable partydog, girls lover and dog to the bad weather. I will stay in my heart forever.

Third dog was Izzy (Bizzy z Temného hvozdu). When we first saw each other, I used to know that we are born to be together. Since her puppy age she filled all wished that she saw in my eyes. After all she filled my best fish - in 2010 we were nominated for Agility World Championship in agility. Izzy is astonishing female, absolutely perfect not just on agility parcour, but also i common lide. It´s the dog, which isn´t borned every day. At the moment she is running agility with her owner, but who knows, but maybe we will run together again.

The fourth and at the moment the last dog is Face (As you Like Graceful Avalanche). Face is my finally fullfied dream to have my own border collie. I waited so long when I will have my own dog. My mother was always against, but now Face is the biggest darling of all family. She´s absolutelly crazy border collie. I will never take her away from me.

WHAT WE DO???

The priority is, was and will be agility. But we also go in for other dog sports, especially herding (when we are in Budišov nad Budišovkou, in Prague we don´t meet so many sheps), also dog dancing (event Universitat of economy is looking for a talent). It isn´t cutted out that we won´t be doing anything else.

PLANS TO THE FUTURE?

Absolutely get better in agility not just competitor, but also like a trainer. And there is one more plan - to have a new member in our pack in coming two years. Probably it will be a border collie, but that´s not cutted out to buy any other breed.
